Why Can't I See a Victim in the Client List?

This article will explain the different reasons you may not be able to find a victim/client in the Records: Client List screen.

There are several reasons that you may not be able to see a victim/client in the Records: Client List screen.  A few of the most common reasons are:

Your user level of security prohibits your view of the victim/client. If the level of security that has been assigned by an Administrator on your account to your username is Data Entry & Reports Limited by Advocate or Data Entry Only Limited by Advocate you will only be able to view the data that you have entered.  Any data entered by any other users will be blocked from your view.

With the Secondary Assignments Module enabled your Advocates can assign as many other users to a Case, Client, or Defendant as they need to.  Making sure only the Advocates who need to view the data can view the data.

The case/victim/client/defendant was marked as confidential,
and you are not the owner or an Administrator on the account.

The victim/client was entered with a case date or services provided outside the date range displayed.  The default date range for the Records: Clients List screen is the Past 30 days.  If the victim or client has not had services applied to their case within that 30 days they will not be included in the Records: Client List screen.

You can try expanding the default 30 days to any range in the dropdown list.  The options are 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, the Past Year, and any year that you have data entered.

If you are still not able to find the victim/client, you can try finding them using the Quick Search tool in the top blue bar, on the right side of the screen.  For more information about the Quick Search tool please see the article How Do I Use Quick Search on the Home Screen?
