What’s New With the Classic Full Service Report?

This article will explain the recent changes made to the Classic Full Service report as of August 2022.

You have probably noticed that the Classic Full Service report looks different than the last time you generated it. No, you are not going crazy or seeing things.

We have updated the Classic Full Service report to better reflect criminal victimizations vs. non-criminal victimizations.

The report will still function the way it always has but we have added additional columns of information to better display the types of victimizations.

Because VOCA (Victim of Crimes Act) and most other common federal grants for assisting victims does not want to know about any non-criminal victimizations, they are not counted in the demographics along with the victims of crimes.

By adding the additional columns for criminal victimizations, it displays the reportable data that is required by VOCA in the separate columns for easier reporting, but you can still see, in the same report, how many of all (non-criminal victimizations and criminal victimizations) you handled in the reporting period.

Now there are two columns at the top of the screen: All Clients and Clients of Crime.

The 'All Clients' column will show the number of clients in this reporting period that INCLUDE clients who are victims of criminal and non-criminal victimizations.

The Clients of Crime column will include only clients who are victims of criminal victimizations.

You will also notice that there are 4 columns in the demographic section of the report.

The first two columns will be the TOTAL clients (criminal and non-criminal combined) for all clients and new clients only.

The last two columns will show the clients of criminal victimizations, TOTAL (all) and NEW only, respectively.

In the Victimization section of the report, you will see two columns: Total Victimizations Served and Total New Victimizations Served.

This will remain the same as it was in the old Classic Full Service report.

The difference in this section of the report is that we have add a sub-total to the bottom of the criminal victimizations section and a sub-total to the bottom of the non-criminal victimizations section. We have also added a total of ALL victimizations combined.

Finally, as you can see in the bottom of the image above, the four columns of data continue down through the bottom of the report.

With all the changes made to this report, one thing remains the same. Everything that is required by VOCA is still highlighted in the bright yellow color to indicate which columns of information are used to report to the various federal grants.
