Adding Tasks

In the Your Tasks screen (see above - Figure 3), you will see the list of all of your Tasks, both client-related and non-client related, that need to be completed.  You can add a task from this screen that is not related to a specific victim or client by clicking on the Add Task button in the upper left corner (see below - Figure 4). A task that is related to a specific victim or client will be added in their client information screens.  ****link to client tasks article****.

View/Edit Tasks

You can view the details of any task by clicking on the taskbar.  Each of the fields in the task can be edited, including re-assigning the task to another user in the list and there is no save button.  In the bottom right corner of each task, you will see the trash can icon to delete the task and the checkmark icon to mark the task complete.  Marking the task complete will remove it from the current list and put it in the completed task list.  You can view the completed task list by clicking the icon in the upper right corner that looks like a clipboard with a checkmark in it.  You can click on expand all to open every task on the screen which will allow you to use your browser’s print feature to print the entire list and you can click on the collapse all to close every task on the screen. (see below - Figure 5)

The completed tasks will work the same way as the tasks that need to be completed, except for the checkmark in the bottom right corner.  In the completed tasks that checkmark is inverted and will mark the task as not complete putting it back in the incomplete task list.
