How do I request a new feature?
Is there something you'd like to see in a future version of the VST software? Let us know, we are always working to improve our software to meet the needs of active advocates. Learn how to submit a "Feature Request" below.
- To start, click on the "Feedback" button on the top blue bar. This will open the Feedback screen.
- There will only be one option when you first open the Feedback Screen. You will see a dropdown field labeled "Feedback Type". Click the dropdown and the dropdown will expand to show a list of feedback types. Click on the second option, "Feature Request". This will populate the screen with fields for you to input the details of your new Feature Request.
- Begin entering the details of your Feature Request by entering a Title for the feature in the field labeled "Brief Title". This should be a short name that describes the feature you are requesting. Example: "Home Screen Clock"
- Next, enter a description of the feature you would like to see. Enter your description in the field labeled "Describe your feature". Give details about how you think the feature could work and where it could be added. Example: "A clock could be added to the Home Screen in the block with my agencies info"
- Enter why you believe this would be a good feature in the field labeled "Why is this feature needed?". Explain why it would be beneficial to you and other advocates. Example: "A clock feature that displays an accurate time would ensure that all advocates are seeing the same time regardless of their computers internal clock.
- If you would like, you can enter your phone number in the field labeled "Callback Number". If we have questions or would like to discuss the feature you are requesting, this is an easy way for us to get in touch.
- Finally, enter your email. We do not require a phone number, but an email is required for us to contact you about your feature request.
- Once you have entered all the necessary information, click the blue "Submit Feedback" button at the bottom of the screen.
