What is in the Case Info block?

The Case Info Block allows you to enter high level case information.

  1. By turning on the "Confidential" toggle, all information associated with the case will be made confidential
  2. Our clients use the case date and time different depending on their needs.  Some use this as the incident date but most use this as the date and time you received the information and began to work the case.  This is the preferred method.
  3. When Case Manager is turned on by your administrator, you will have stages in a drop down list to chose from.  Those stages will depend on how your administrator has setup your software.
  4. As you start typing the case number into the system, the system will try to locate a matching case.  If you see a case that you are trying to add additional information into, you would click on the case when it appears.  If you are creating a brand new case, complete typing in the field without selecting the case number.
